Other oil firms join Shell in raising gasoline prices by P0.80 a liter


Motorists who patronize Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc., Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc., and Flying V are expected to pay more for petroleum products as the oil firms are raising pump prices starting Tuesday.

Shell, Phoenix Petroleum, Unioil, and Flying V are increasing gasoline prices by P0.80 per liter, and diesel by P0.65.

Shell and Flying V are also raising kerosene prices by P0.70 per liter.

The price adjustments will take effect at 06:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, except for Flying V which will impose the new prices 12:01 a.m.

According to the latest data from the Department of Energy (DOE), diesel prices range from P19.25 to P22.75 per liter and gasoline from P30.00 to P39.32.
