PHL oil companies go for another fuel price rollback
Customers of Flying V, Eastern Petroleum Corp., Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Inc., and Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc are slated to pay for lower prices of petroleum products starting Tuesday.
All companies will reduce gasoline prices by P0.55 per liter, and diesel by P0.75.
Shell is also reducing kerosene prices by P0.75 per liter.
The changes will take effect 6:00 a.m. on July 19 for Shell, Phoenix, and Unioil at 12:01 a.m. the same day for Flying V and Eastern Petroleum.
The Department of Energy (DOE) earlier said gasoline and diesel prices are expected to decline by P0.60 to P0.70 per liter this week.
The latest data from the DOE showed that diesel prices currently range from P25.45 to P28.75 per liter, and gasoline from P35.85 to P42.45. — Jon Viktor Cabuenas/VDS, GMA News
