SkyJet flight from Basco makes emergency landing at NAIA

A Skyjet Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Wednesday morning due to a problem with its landing gear.

Initial information from Manila International Airport Authority noted the aircraft's left nosewheel was broken at 8:48 a.m., but the aircraft landed safely at 9:58 a.m.

SkyJet flight M8 817 was bound for the Manila domestic airport from Basco, Batanes. No one was reported injured in the incident among the 44 passengers and four crew members. — Ted Cordero/VDS, GMA News
