Max’s, Silver Group to expand Yellow Cab Middle East footprint
Max's Group Inc. (MGI) and Qatar-based Silver Group have forged a development deal to establish 22 Yellow Cab pizza stores in Kuwat, Bahrain and Oman in five years starting January 2017.
“Our international business has been scaling up quite aggressively, with Yellow Cab Pizza emerging as the most coveted brand," said Robert F. Trota, Max’s Group president and CEO.
This is the seventh overseas franchise contract forged by MGI this year, translating to an international pipeline of 153 outlets slated to open in the coming years.
The Silver Group has pioneered MGI's pizza venture in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
The latest deal with MGI was one of Silver Group's great achievements, following the results of a similar business arrangement in Qatar that was forged in 2007, said Abdulrahman Al-Kaabi, CEO of Silver Group.
Yellow Cab Pizza operates a network of 145 branches, including seven franchised outlets in Qatar, one in the United Arab Emirates and two in China.
MGI noted plans are underway to open flagship stores in Singapore, Hawaii, Jordan and Egypt. — VDS, GMA News
