Smart, TNT, Sun suspend services along Traslacion 2017 route

Smart Communications, Inc announced on Monday morning that it was shutting down Smart, TNT, and Sun mobile phone services along the Black Nazarene's procession route in Manila over security concerns.

 

"[U]pon the instructions of the National Telecommunications Commission and the Philippine National Police, we have temporarily shut down mobile phone services," Smart Communications announced on Twitter.

 

The telecom promised ot restore services as soon as authorities give the "go-signal." — DVM, GMA News
