Ford PHL says January sales up 2.5%

Ford Philippines sold 2,519 vehicles in January, up 2.5 percent from a year earlier, the carmaker said on Wednesday.

In a statement, Ford Philippines noted the strong demand for its EcoSport, Everest, and Ranger brands led to the sustained increase in retail sales.

“It’s a nice start to the year, with the uptake for Ranger, Everest and EcoSport keeping our showrooms busy around the country,” said Lance Mosley, managing director of Ford Philippines. — Ted Cordero/VDS, GMA News
