AirAsia to launch direct flights to Boracay via Caticlan in March

Budget carrier Philippines AirAsia is launching flights to Boracay Island via Caticlan airport with a promo fare.

The company on Tuesday said direct flights from Manila to Caticlan will start on March 15.

In an emailed statement, AirAsia said it is offering an all-in promo fare for P1,699 starting Tuesday and which can be used between March 15 and June 18, 2017.

“Our twice daily flights will significantly enhance connectivity to one of the world’s best island destinations,” Philippines AirAsia CEO Captain Dexter Comendador said.

The Manila-Caticlan flights are twice daily using Airbus A320s that can accommodate up to 180 passengers, the carrier noted. — Ted Cordero/VDS, GMA News
