Cebu Pacific launches direct flights to Masbate and Tablas

Cebu Pacific on Wednesday launched direct flights to new destinations, expanding its network to two fast-rising areas in Luzon.

In a statement, Cebu Pacific said its wholly owned subsidiary Cebgo is now operating daily return flights between Manila and Masbate.

It also has return flights from Manila to Tablas, Romblon four times weekly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday using the newly-acquired ATR 72-600 aircraft.

The airline's lowest one-way, all-in year round fare for Manila-to-Masbate is P1,879 P2,439 for Manila-to-Tablas.

"Likewise, the addition of these new routes will establish stronger cargo services within the area of Luzon, specifically in the Bicol and MIMAROPA regions," Cebu Pacific noted.

MIMAROPA is composed of the provinces of Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan. — Ted Cordero/VDS, GMA News
