Ube Express partners with Ayala Malls to expand Makati route

Airport bus service Ube Express has partnered with Ayala Malls and Ayala Center Estate Association (ACEA) to expand its route and service area in Makati City.

Ube Express is set to have a terminal in Park Square, in addition to existing stops at Glorietta 4 and 5 and hotels within Ayala Center, according to Ube Express Transport Business Development Manager Ian Manriza.

"Right now we have parking spots and staying area at Park Square, but soon we will put up a ticketing booth," Manriza said on Wednesday, when the new route was launched.

"This new agreement with Ayala Malls was signed on April 1," he added.

As mandated by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, the fare is P300.

"But we have a promo. The fare is now P200 until May, and we are planning to extend it further," said Ube Express Operations Manager Marika Chavez.

The Ayala Center-NAIA route operates from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

From the four terminals of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), passengers can get to key areas in Metro Manila such as Makati Central Business District, Entertainment City, Roxas Boulevard, and Intramuros.

Ube Express President Garrie David  said the partnership reflects quality service for commuters and a convenient mode of getting to the airport terminals as well. — VDS, GMA News
