Globe restores mobile services in Quiapo after bomb blasts

Globe Telecom Inc. has restored mobile services in Quiapo, Manila, the scene of twin explosions that killed two people over the weekend.

"Globe mobile services in areas surrounding Quiapo, Manila have already been restored upon the order of National Telecommunications Commission (NTC)," the Ayala-led telco said on Monday.

"We ask for patience and understanding from our customers affected by this NTC order," the company said.

Globe on Sunday said it will suspend mobile services for 48 hours after a couple of bombs exploded in Quiapo. — Jon Viktor Cabuenas/VDS, GMA News
