Landbank, RiteMed sign deal on online medicine purchases
Clients of the Land Bank of the Philippines (Landbank) will now be able to electronically order and purchase medicine from RiteMed Philippines Inc. under the Tamang Alaga TxTMED Program.
The program allows Landbank clients to electronically order and purchase medicines via mobile phones, scrapping the need for cash payments.
“This partnership with RiteMed and FINTQ attests to the endless possibilities in terms of financial technology and the value of public-private sector collaboration, as we work towards optimizing digital transactions to improve access to quality healthcare across the country,” Landbank President and CEO Alex V. Buenaventura said in an emailed statement on Wednesday.
The program is also in partnership with FINTQ, the financial technology arm of PLDT Inc. and Smart Communications Inc. — Jon Viktor Cabuenas/VDS, GMA News
