LOOK: Most in demand skills employers seek from Filipino job seekers
Job seekers in the Philippines need to expand their skills set and stand out from the competition, according to a report by professional network portal LinkedIn.
"For jobs seekers, it is no longer adequate to just possess technical qualifications but they need to diversify and strengthen their skill sets," Feon Ang, LinkedIn vice president for Talent and Learning Solutions in Asia Pacific, said in an emailed statement.
"This also spells tougher competition for companies looking for talent with the right skill competencies, as well as aptitude for continuous learning," she added.
Below are the most sought-after skills in the Philippines according to LinkedIn's "Recruiting in the Philippines: A Special Report On The Philippines' Skilled Workforce And How to Attract Top Talent."

The report is based on a study of more than four million professionals and over 19,000 active companies in the Philippines on LinkedIn.
LinkedIn operates the world's largest professional network on the internet with more than 500 million members in over 200 countries and territories.
It has more than 118 million members in Asia and the Pacific, of which over four million are in the Philippines. — Jon Viktor Cabuenas/VDS, GMA News
