LandBank ATMs in Marawi City are back online

Automated teller machines (ATMs) of the Land Bank of the Philippines are back online to service clients in war-torn Marawi City, the state-owned lender said Tuesday.

The ATMs are located in the Mindanao State University (MSU) main campus, catering to clients from the government and private sectors.

"LandBank ATMs are now open to service clients in Marawi City and nearby areas affected by the recent armed conflict," the lender said.

LandBank is the only government bank in Marawi, and works are underway to resume banking operations at the Provincial Capital of Lanao del Sur by the end of the month.

On November 6, the bank opened an information booth beside the ATMs at MSU to address queries and concerns of clients until the LandBank Marawi branch is back in business. — VDS, GMA News
