Gasoline prices to go down; diesel, kerosene up next week —DOE
Pump prices of gasoline are seen to rollback next week, while the prices of diesel and kerosene may go up slightly, the Department of Energy (DOE) said on Saturday.
In its consumer price advisory, the DOE said the price of gasoline may decrease by around P0.25 per.
The prices of diesel and kerosene may slightly increase by around P0.05 per liter.
The DOE said the projected fuel price adjustments is based on last week's international oil trading.
It said, however, that the projected price adjustments may still be affected by the Friday trading activities which will be accessed on Monday.
Adjustments on petroleum products are implemented every Tuesday of the week.
Latest available data from the DOE show diesel prices in the country currently range from P31.65 to P36.80 per liter, and gasoline from P42.75 to P52.65 per liter. — Ted Cordero/MDM, GMA News
