Cebu Pacific launches Manila-Batanes route
Cebu Pacific on Monday said it is launching direct flights between Manila and Batanes next month.
Wholly-owned subsidiary Cebgo will start daily flights on the Manila-Basco route starting March 25, the airline said.
“Our new flight to Basco is in keeping with our commitment to connect more of the Philippines and make air travel safe, affordable, reliable, and fun-filled for every Juan,” Cebgo president and CEO Alexander Lao said.
Batanes was the most requested destination in a Cebu Pacific poll during which netizens were asked which local destinations they would want the carrier to fly to next.
Flights from Manila will depart the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 4 at 6:20 a.m. with the return trip from Basco, Batanes leaving at 9:15 a.m.
Cebu Pacific said an introductory all-in seat sale for the Manila-Basco route will run from February 12 to 13. One-way fares would cost P2,699, on the travel dates March 25 to May 31, 2018, and P2,399 on the travel dates June 1 to Oct. 27, 2018.
“The year-round fare from Manila to Basco is as low as P4,241 all-in,” the airline said.
