PAL to launch Davao-Siargao flights this month

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) is launching its maiden flight on the Davao-Siargao route later this month.

In an emailed statement, PAL said it will start flying four times a week between Davao and Siargao starting March 25, 2018.

The flights are scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

“Avid Lovers of sun, sea, diving, international game fishing, and surfing can take PAL’s Manila-Davao, Cebu-Davao, or Clark-Davao flights and enjoy the King City of the South for a few days before taking a short hop to the beautiful and sparkling jewel island paradise of Siargao,” said Harry Inoferio, PAL senior assistant vice president for Visayas and Mindanao Sales and Services.

PAL also announced an introductory fare sale for the trip with round-trip tickets currently available at a little over P1,000. The promo period will end on April 15, 2018.

In the same statement, PAL said it will also increase flights from Davao and Tagbilaran to daily from the current four flights a week.

“We envision Davao to become a major hub in our network in the years to come that will spur tremendous economic and tourism activities in the region,” Inoferio said. —Jon Viktor Cabuenas/VDS, GMA News
