Smart offers free YouTube streaming for selected data packages

Smart Communications Inc. has teamed up with Google to allow customers free access to YouTube for an hour daily.

Under the partnership, Smart, TNT, and Sun prepaid customers will be given access to YouTube for free for an hour daily until July 15.

According to Smart, customers who can avail of the free video streaming are those registered to select load packages, including GigaSurf99, AllOutSurf99, GigaSurf50, AllOutSurf30, Panalo Data 30, Panalo Combo 30, Super Combo 20, and Big Time Data 70.

The partnership was officially launched in Pasay City on Tuesday evening.

“With this new offer, mobile phone users now have everyday access to the richest video library with content from every corner of the planet for free,” Smart and PLDT Inc. SVP for Consumer Business Market Development Oscar Reyes Jr. said.
