GMA Network inks deal with Francisco Motors to install TV digital devices in jeeps
GMA Network, Inc. on Thursday signed an agreement with Francisco Motor Corporation (FMC) for the installation of digital devices for TV in all the company's modern passenger jeepneys.
According to report on 24 Oras, GMA's digital television service will bring Kapuso shows in high definition to commuters.
The contract was inked by FMC chairman and CEO Elmer Francisco and GMA Network Inc. Chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon, GMA Network Inc. president and COO Gilberto Duavit, Jr., GMA Network Inc. first vice president for Corporate and Strategic Planning and head of program support Regie Bautista.
Also present during the event was GMA Films and GMA Worldwide, Inc. president Anna Teresa Gozon.
"We installed 'yung digital box noong early April, 'yung prototype doon sa digital box and we found na it's very clear, maganda," Francisco said.
Duavit said, "Ang ating manonood ay mapapanood na tayo maski tumatakbo ang sasakyan na hindi nag-iiba ang kalidad nu'ng pinapanood sa TV." — Margaret Claire Layug/BAP, GMA News
