BDO apologizes for service interruption on Saturday


BDO Unibank Inc. has apologized after its banking facilities were temporarily unavailable due to a service interruption on Saturday.

In an advisory posted on its official Facebook account 8:46 p.m. on Saturday, the Sy-led lender said facilities were affected by an interruption.

"Select banking facilities earlier affected by a service interruption are now back to normal," it said in the post.

According to several netizens, services were put offline as early as 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

"We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding," the bank said.
