GoBear appoints Adrian Chng as CEO
Insurance and banking metasearch engine GoBear has announced a change in company leadership which took effect earlier this month.
In an emailed statement on Monday, GoBear said it appointed Adrian Chng to succeed Andre Hesselink as its chief executive officer (CEO) starting July 16.
Hesselink is moving back to the Netherlands but will continue to be involved in the company as special advisor.
Prior to his appointment, Chng co-founded two financial technology startups and was CEO of Fintonia, a merchant bank that invests in fintech companies in ASEAN and Hong Kong.
Singapore-based, GoBear provides comparison results for financial products such as insurance, credit cards, and loans.
Chng is also said to be instrumental in the AUS$1-billion merger of JobsDB with JobStreet.com in 2014. —Jon Viktor Cabuenas/VDS, GMA News
