PAL resets Manila-Sapporo flight launch to October 8

Due to a magnitude 6.7 earthquake which hit Hokkaido, Japan early Thursday, Philippine Airlines is postponing the launch of its Manila-Sapporo-Manila route.

The September 10 launch was moved to October 8, 2018, the flag carrier said, noting the earthquake resulted in power outages and blocked roads in Hokkaido.

Rebooking, rerouting, and refunding service fees are waived for passengers who have already purchased tickets with flight dates within September 10 to October 7.

The airline said it will endeavor to rebook affected passengers on the next available flight dates.

However, fare differences will be collected when a passenger rebooks on a higher cabin class. —Jessica Bartolome/VDS, GMA News
