Cebu Pacific plane bound for CDO returns to Cebu airport due to technical problem
An aircraft of Cebu Pacific Air bound for Cagayan De Oro was forced to return to the Mactan Cebu International Airport after it experienced a technical problem, the airline said Thursday.
In a tweet, Cebu Pacific Air said Cebgo Flight DG 6717 returned to Cebu due to a glitch.

The airline said the flight landed safely at about 11:06 a.m., but did not elaborate on what happened.
“Passengers have been safely deplaned and will be served refreshments while waiting for their replacement aircraft,” Cebu Pacific said.
Charo Logarta-Lagamon, Cebu Pacific director for Corporate Communications said there are no details yet as to what caused the glitch.
“No specifics yet. That will take time to ascertain,” Lagamon told GMA News Online.
Flight DG 6717 changed aircraft, before departing again at 1:51 p.m.
It arrived at Cagayan de Oro at 2:30 p.m.
Lagamon said there were 45 passengers “plus an infant” on the flight.
“Affected passengers who opted to rebook and refund their flights have all been assisted. We apologize for any inconvenience this situation has caused. We thank our passengers for their patience and understanding,ö Cebu Pacific said. —Jamil Santos/VDS/MDM, GMA News
