Cebu Pacific system down on Christmas Eve

Budget carrier Cebu Pacific reported a system downtime on Monday amid a seat sale promo a day before Christmas.

In an advisory released through Facebook, Cebu Pacific reported a system downtime as of 11:45 a.m. on Monday, December 24.

"We are experiencing system downtime which is affecting our booking channels, online check-in and airport operations," the carrier said in the advisory.

"We are exerting every effort to restore the system at the soonest time possible. In the meantime, our airport staff are assisting passengers affected by the intermittent system," it elaborated.

The airline earlier announced a two-day seat sale starting Monday, with one-way base fares going for as low as P1. — RSJ, GMA News
