Cebu Pacific suspends ‘piso’ seat sale
Budget carrier Cebu Pacific on Monday announced the suspension of its ongoing piso seat sale, to give for the company's troubleshooting to address its system downtime.
In a supplemental advisory released Monday afternoon, Cebu Pacific said it has suspended its two-day promo with one-way base fares going for as low as P1.
"To give way for troubleshooting, we regret to inform patrons and passengers that we are suspending the ongoing Piso/Seat sale," the carrier said.
"Through the booking platform is not related to the airport process, we need to ensure our IT team remains focused on operations and the system restoration at the soonest possible time," it elaborated.
The airline earlier in the day reported a system downtime, amid a seat sale promo a day before Christmas, but did not elaborate on the cause. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/RSJ, GMA News
