Tuko gets caught in power line, causes brownouts in Puerto Princesa

A tuko, or gecko, caused power interruptions in the communities of Iwahig and Santa Monica in Puerto Princesa City on Friday morning.

"Dahilan ng pagkawala ng power may sumabit na tuko sa linya sa harap ng Catholic church sa Santa Monica," the Palawan Electric Cooperative said on its Facebook page.

Paleco said power resumed in Iwahig at 6:57 a.m., in Santa Monica at 6:59 a.m. —NB, GMA News
