Eastern Petroleum to hike LPG price effective Sunday


Eastern Petroleum Corp. announced Saturday it will increase the price per kilogram of its  liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

In an advisory, it said it will hike the price of its EC Gas LPG by P3.40 per kilogram or P37.40 for an 11-kilo tank.

The price adjustment will take effect at 6:00 a.m., Sunday, February 3.

"Latest price adjustment reflects the increase in contract price and the second tranche of the TRAIN Law," Eastern Petroleum said.

Regasco LPG earlier raised the price of its 11-kilogram tank to P646 effective Saturday.

Petron also raised its LPG prices by P3.88 per kilogram effective 12:01 a.m. last Friday, Feb. 1.

Likewise, Solane hiked the price of its LPG by P3.41 per kilogram effective 6 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 1. —LBG, GMA News
