Budget carrier Cebu Pacific on Tuesday announced promotional fares for its direct flights between Clark and Narita, Japan to be launched in August.

In an emailed statement, Cebu Pacific said it will start flying between Clark and Narita on August 9, 2019, four times weekly — Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday.

The flight will depart Clark at 7 a.m., while the return flight will leave Narita at 1:15 p.m. and arrive in Clark at 5 p.m.

With this, Cebu Pacific announced promotional fares for as low as P2,099 one-way base fares which will be available from April 2 to April 9, 2019, covering the travel period from August 9 to October 26, 2019.

"There is so much untapped potential in Clark, and we are committed to expanding our Clark hub to expand tourism, trade, and investment opportunities," said Candice Iyog, vice president for Marketing and Distribution of Cebu Pacific.

"This will open up the areas around Clark to more investors and entrepreneurs," she added.

Cebu Pacific earlier announced it would start direct flights between its hubs in Clark and Iloilo; as well as between Clark and Bacolod on August 9. It will also start daily flights between Clark and Puerto Princesa in Palawan by October 9, 2019.
