Banking schedules for Holy Week 2019
Most banks will be closed on Thursday and Friday this week, April 18 and 19, for the Holy Week break.
In separate advisories, local lenders advised clients to plan their transactions ahead of time in view of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday which were earlier declared regular holidays by Malacañang.
Here are the Holy Week schedules of local banks during the four-day weekend:
Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
All BPI, BPI Family Savings Bank, and BPI Direct Banko branches and kiosks nationwide will be closed from April 18, Maundy Thursday, to April 21, Easter Sunday.
Regular bank operations will resume on April 22, Monday.
BDO Unibank
All BDO branches, including mall branches, will be closed from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday (April 18-21). Regular operations will resume on Monday (April 22).
China Bank
All China Bank branches will be closed from Maundy Thursday, April 18 to Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019.
Regular banking schedule will resume on Monday, April 22, 2019.
EastWest Bank
All EastWest Bank branches will be closed from April 18 (Holy Thursday) to April 19 (Good Friday).
Some mall-based stores with weekend banking, namely 168 Mall Baclaran, Greenhills Shopping Center, Festival Mall Level 2, Bicutan-East Service Road, and Cebu Park Mall, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 20 (Black Saturday).
On April 21 (Easter Sunday), the following EastWest mall-based stores will be open from 10 am to 5 pm: 168 Mall, Baclaran, and Festival Mall Level 1.
The bank also said a system-wide downtime on Easter Sunday (April 21) will render the bank's online, ATM, and cards services unavailable.
EastWest bank operations will go back to normal on Monday, April 22.
Metrobank
Select branches will be open during the Holy Week.
Philippine Veterans Bank
The Philippine Veterans Bank announced that its branches will be closed on Maundy Thursday (April 18) and Good Friday (April 19).
Normal banking operations will resume on Monday, April 22.
PNB
Philippine National Bank has posted the schedules for its banks on its Facebook account. In Metro Manila, its branches in NAIA will be open at differing hours on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
All PNB branches will be closed on Good Friday.
PSBank
All Philippine Savings Bank branches nationwide will be closed on April 18 and 19, 2019, in observance of Holy Thursday and Good Friday.
Meanwhile, a network of 575 ATMs , the PSBank Mobile and PSBank Online (Internet banking) will be available for banking needs.
RCBC
All branches of the Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation will be closed from April 18 to 21.
Security Bank
All branches will be closed on 18 April 2019 (Maundy Thursday) to 19 April 2019 (Good Friday).
Meanwhile, only NAIA and NAIA Terminal 3 branches will be open on 20 April 2019 (Black Saturday) and 21 April 2019 (Easter Sunday).
All other Security Bank branches will resume operations on 22 April 2019 (Monday).
