Maynilad customers to have limited water supply until June 9 due to Laguna Lake algae

Many customers of Maynilad Water Services, Inc. in the southern part of Metro Manila and Cavite will have limited water supply daily until Sunday, June 9 due to the unusual proliferation of algae in Laguna Lake.

In advisories posted on Twitter, Maynilad announced which areas will be affected.

Rotational water supply availability

Maynilad said water service will be available in the following areas at these hours:

8 p.m.-11 p.m.:

• Las Piñas City:
  • Barangay Almanza Dos
• Muntinlupa City:
  • Barangay Poblacion
  • Barangay Tunasan

4 a.m.-5 p.m.:

• Muntinlupa City:
  • Barangay Alabang
  • Barangay Bayanan
  • Barangay Poblacion
  • Barangay Putatan
  • Barangay Tunasan

11 p.m. to 10 a.m.:

1 a.m.-2 p.m.:

The company said the estimated time of resumption of water service is tentative. Several factors may cause the water service interruptions to be extended.
