Isko Moreno orders creation of Business One Stop Shop for biz permits
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has ordered the creation of a Business One Stop Shop that would make getting business permits in the city a lot easier.
In Executive Order No. 8 which he signed on July 8, Moreno called for the establishment of the year-round Bagong Manila Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) "to promote ease of doing business in the City of Manila," according to a report by Isa Avendaño-Umali on Dobol B sa News TV on Saturday.

The BOSS will be housed at the Manila City Business Center/Taxpayer's Lounge at the ground floor of the City Hall's Taft Wing.
With the BOSS, procedures for procuring the local business license, clearances, permits, certifications, and authorizations will be done under one roof.
The BOSS will have personnel of the following departments ready to assist applicants and taxpayers:
- Bureau of Permits and the License Division
- Cash Division, City Treasury
- City Planning and Development Office (CPDO/Zoning Division)
- City Engineering/Building Office including its Electrical Division
- Manila Health Department
- Electronic Data Processing Office (EDP)
- Other regulatory offices
- Bureau of Fire Protection
