St. Luke's Medical Center (SLMC) is expanding to Mindanao and the Visayas by opening two new hospitals.

The hospitals group will start constructing its Davao City branch in first quarter of 2020, SLMC president and CEO Arturo dela Peña said on Thursday.

“It will become operational, if things work out well, by the second quarter of 2022,” Dela Peña said in Taguig City on Thursday.

St. Luke’s is looking at an investment of P4 billion to P5 billion for the 150-bed St. Luke’s Medical Center Davao City.

“For the Visayas, I'm not at liberty to discuss it yet as it still in the negotiation phase,” Dela Peña noted.
