The initial reported cost of damage at P4.55 million has increased to P13.33 million, the DA-DRRM said in a bulletin.

“The increase in amount is attributed to the additional damages reported in Davao del Sur,” it said.

The Mindanao has been hit by three strong quakes in October.

The DA said its Regional Field Offices (RFO) 11 and 12 have on-going physical inspection of affected areas to in its continuing assessment of damage and losses.

“On the other hand, relief support has been continuously distributed through the efforts of the Department of Agriculture, in partnership with different government and non-government agencies,” it said. —Ted Cordero/VDS, GMA News
