Globe provides free WiFi in Tisoy-hit areas
Globe Telecom Inc. on Tuesday said it is providing free and unlimited internet connection to specific places hit by Typhoon Tisoy via GoWiFi services.
Free internet will be available on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 3 and 4, to connect local government units (LGUs), search and rescue personnel, and communities, the telco said in an emailed statement.
“We all know that in times like these, communication is very important. We need to be in touch with our loved ones who are suffering the brunt of Typhoon Tisoy, and be assured that they are safe and dry or if they need urgent help,” said Janis Racpan, Globe director for WiFi Business Group.
GoWiFi is currently available in the following areas:
