More firms announce gasoline, diesel, kerosene rollback


More firms announced on Monday a rollback in pump prices of petroleum products to take place this week.

In an advisory, Chevron Philippines Inc. (Caltex) said it will roll back prices per liter of gasoline by P0.30, diesel by P0.60, and kerosene by P1.40.

TOTAL Philippines Corp. will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which it does not carry.

The adjustments will take effect 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11 for Chevron, and 6 a.m. the same day for TOTAL.

Petro Gazz, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., SEAOIL Philippines Inc., and Cleanfuel earlier announced similar adjustments.

According to the latest data available from the Department of Energy (DOE), year-to-date adjustments stand at a net decrease of P2.85 per liter for gasoline, P3.90 for diesel, and P4.44 for kerosene. — Jon Viktor D.C abuenas/RSJ, GMA News
