Gasoline prices up, diesel and kerosene down Tuesday

After several weeks of rollbacks, motorists will have to pay more for pump prices of gasoline this week, while those of diesel and kerosene will be reduced.

In separate advisories, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and SEAOIL Philippines Inc. said they will hike gasoline prices by P0.35 per liter, while rolling back both diesel and kerosene by P0.10 each.

Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.

The changes will take effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18 for all the firms except for Cleanfuel, which will implement the changes 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19.

Other firms have yet to announce any adjustments for the week.

According to the latest data available from the Department of Energy (DOE), year-to-date adjustments stand at a net decrease of P2.85 per liter for gasoline, P3.90 for diesel, and P4.44 for kerosene. — Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/DVM/BM, GMA News
