AirAsia announces promo fares in line with relaunch of Manila-Ho Chi Minh flights

Budget carrier AirAsia on Monday announced the relaunch of its direct flights between Ho Chi Minh and Manila, along with promotional fares for the said route.

In an advisory, AirAsia said it will start flights between the two destinations on Saturday, March 29.

Departing flights leave Manila 11:25 p.m. three times a week, and arrive at the Saigon airport at 1:05 a.m. the following day.

Meanwhile, return flights leave Saigon 1:35 a.m. thrice a week, and arrive in Manila at 5:20 a.m. the same day.

"We are pleased to announce our newest services to Ho Chi Minh City after being held over for eight months," said AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla.

"As an Asean airline, we aim to increase regional connectivity and to provide more business and leisure opportunities in Vietnam to our AirAsia guests," he added.

In the same advisory, AirAsia announced promotional fares for the said routes — all-in fares will be available from P1,499 for BIG Loyalty members from February 24 to 27, with travel dates from March 29 to September 30, 2020. —Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas/KBK, GMA News
