PAL allows free rebooking for int’l tickets bought on or before March 31
Philippine Airlines (PAL) passengers who purchased international flight tickets, except for those originating in Japan and South Korea, on or before the end of March can now rebook their tickets for free.
In an advisory, PAL said the one-time free rebooking for international tickets bought on or before March 31 is aimed at proving “added flexibility to rebook their flights in this time of COVID-19 concerns.”
Passengers may rebook their flights at least seven days before their original flight departure date, for travel at any time within the validity of the ticket.
“This offering applies to all fares,” PAL said.
“We will not charge you rebooking fees or penalties for this change,” it said.
However, it said that if seats for the same fare type are not available on a passenger’s chosen flight, the fare difference amount will be charged.
For succeeding or second rebooking, penalties and charges may apply in line with the stated fare conditions.
“Please note that the one-time free rebooking offer is not valid on purely domestic flights (within the Philippines),” PAL said.
“However, the offer is valid for passengers holding PAL tickets on code share flights operated by our key partner airlines,” it said.
Passengers may rebook their flights through the following: PAL reservations hotline at (+63 2) 8855 8888, or visit the nearest PAL ticketing office.
For holders of tickets issued by travel agents, please contact or visit the nearest partner travel agency of PAL for rebooking needs.
“You may check your flight status by visiting the Flight Status Page on the PAL website 48 hours before your trip,” PAL said.
