Cebu Pacific allows tickets of rebooked, canceled flights to be put in travel fund

Apart from giving the option for passengers to rebook their tickets to a later date for free, Cebu Pacific is also allowing patrons to put the cost of their airfare in a “travel fund” which can be redeemed in the future.

In an advisory, the low-cost carrier said it has made changes to its rebooking policies to provide flexibility for passengers.

“Cebu Pacific flights continue to operate as scheduled, however, we have received rebooking and cancellation requests from our passengers in light of COVID-19,” it said.

Passengers with flight schedules to both domestic and international destinations from March 10 to April 30, who wish to rebook or cancel flights may opt to rebook for free but fare difference may apply.

Passengers may also “put the full cost of the ticket in a travel fund.”

“Travel fund can be redeemed within 180 days and can be used for bookings as far as 12 months out,” Cebu Pacific said.

Meanwhile, passengers booking flights from March 10 to April 30 may avail of CEB Flexi for free.

CEB Flexi allows passengers to rebook their flights up to two times by simply selecting “CEB Flexi” add-on during booking. — RSJ, GMA News
