Grab launches GrabMart delivery service amid COVID-19 quarantine


Grab Philippines on Friday launched GrabMart, an on-demand everyday goods delivery service, amid the enhanced community quarantine due to the coronavirus disease 2019.

"You can now buy packaged food, beverages, personal care items, and many more all through the Grab app and have it delivered to you instantly," Grab said.

While the availability of goods depends on the stores chosen, Grab said the following products can be ordered:

  •     Packaged Food (cookies, chocolate, popcorn, etc)
  •     Drinks (Juice, Milk, Coffee, etc)
  •     Home Care (Detergent, Dishwashing Liquid, etc)
  •     Personal Care (Shampoo, Soap, etc)

The service will be able "early as 8 am and as late as 2 am."

According to Grab, the delivery fee will start at P120 and will vary depending on the store.

There is no minimum order requirement.

Grab said that an order fee of P30 will be charged for a basket size below P1,500. Meanwhile, the maximum order value is at P3,000.

Users may also simultaneously book up to four orders from different stores.

To access GrabMart, a user must select "Mart" within the Grab application and select "GrabMart merchant."

Grab also encouraged its users to go cashless with GrabPay and observe social distancing measures when using the service. -NB, GMA News
