PGH welcomes disinfecting apparatus donation from Villar Group
The Philippine General Hospital (PGH) recently received a disinfecting apparatus donated by former senator Manny Villar and the Villar Group.
The donation was welcomed as PGH has been designated by the Department of Health as a COVID-19 referral center.

The Villar Group said it also installed disinfecting apparatus at the Bataan General Hospital and the PICC Quarantine Facility. The group, together with the Department of Public Works and Highways and EEI Corporation, converted the Philippine International Convention Center into a quarantine facility.
The group also donated disinfecting apparatus in nine other hospitals: Research Institute for Tropical Medicine in Alabang, Las Piñas General Hospital, Don Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital in Caloocan, Rizal Medical Center in Pasig, Quirino Medical Center, Philippine Heart Center and Lung Center of the Philippines in Quezon City, and San Lazaro Hospital and Santa Ana Hospital in Manila. —KG, GMA News
