Petron, Solane to hike LPG prices big-time on May 1
Petron Corp. and Solane on Thursday announced big-time price hikes in the prices of its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products for the coming month.
In an advisory, Petron said it will implement a P5.80 per kilogram increase in household LPG prices.
This is equivalent to an additional P63.8 for a typical 11-kilogram LPG tank of Petron.
The company said it would also hike the price of its AutoLPG by P3.25 per liter.
“These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of May,” Petron said.
Petron’s LPG price adjustments would take effect 12:01 a.m., Friday, May 1.
Solane, meanwhile, said its LPG price will increase by P5.19 per kilogram or an additional P57 increase to the price of an 11-kilogram tank.
Solane’s price hike would take effect 6 a.m., on May 1. —LDF, GMA News
