Marco Polo Davao to end operations indefinitely starting June 15


Davao City’s iconic hotel Marco Polo Davao is closing its doors indefinitely next month.

In a statement posted on its Facebook page, Marco Polo Davao announced the indefinite cessation of its hotel operations effective June 15, 2020.



“Our priority is to take care of our associates while the company can. All of you have been the core, and our partners in building Marco Polo Davao. We will forever be grateful for your unconditional contribution,” it said.

“To all our friends in the community and our valued business partners, daghang salamat from the Heart of Davao,” it added.

Marco Polo Hotel began operations in 1998. It has 245 guest rooms and suites as well as six function rooms and two ballroom for meetings and functions.—AOL, GMA News
