Starbucks Philippines reopens more branches, imposes safety measures in stores

Starbucks Philippines has reopened more stores for delivery, take-out, and drive-thru.

"Each store may vary in service as we continue to prioritize the health and well-being of our customers and partners (employees)," Starbucks Philippines wrote in a Facebook announcement.

The company also released guidelines on the safety measures they are implementing for the safety of both their employees and customers as the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) continues to threaten the country.

Starbucks said only disposable take-out ware will be provided and the use of personal cups or tumblers and "For Here" ware will all be on hold.

Face masks must be worn by customers who enter the stores.

Temperature checks will also be done before entry and those who are found with 37.5 degrees Celsius temperature won't be allowed to enter.

Enhanced sanitation will also be practiced by their employees as they increase sanitation and proper hygiene protocols.

Last April, Starbucks Philippines attempted to resume operations amid the COVID-19 threat, only to close its doors shortly after.
