Data services of Smart disrupted due to 'systems issue'

Data services of Smart Communications Inc. were disrupted on Saturday due to a "systems issue."

In an advisory, the telco told the subscribers of Smart, Sun, and Talk N’ Text that they may “experience degradation or loss of data services due to an on-going systems issue.”

“We are working on normalizing data services and we will provide updates as efforts progress,” Smart said.

Data services got disrupted in parts of Metro Manila as early as 7 a.m. Saturday. In some areas, services only returned past 1 p.m. - MDM, GMA News
