Globe partners with Puregold to allow loading via supermarket operator's mobile app
Globe Telecom Inc. has partnered with Puregold Price Club Inc., to allow subscribers of the network to load up using the supermarket operator's mobile application.
Launched on Thursday, the partnership allows subscribers of Globe Telecom to load up using the Puregold mobile application launched earlier this year.
According to Globe, subscribers can avail of regular load or prepaid promos such as Go or Homesurf, as well as Globe or TM prepaid sim cards, call cards, and home prepaid wifi in the application.
Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, GCash, or via Puregold's own in-application wallet P-Wallet.
Globe said that with the quarantines designed to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease, more customers have chosen to avail of products and services through deliveries.
"With the increase in work from home and learn from home set-up, having ready access to prepaid load and promos is as important as having basic necessities in the house," said Globe president and chief executive officer Ernest Cu.
"We want to give our subscribers another platform in the Puregold Mobile App to avail of their load needs so they can always stay connected," he added.
This was mirrored by Puregold president Vincent Co, who welcomed the latest development in the company's mobile application.
"With the current situation, we want to help our customers to stay safe in their homes. By adding an in-app loading service with multiple payment options in the Puregold app, they can buy load credits anytime 24/7 anywhere they are," said Puregold president Vincent Co.—AOL, GMA News
