Oil companies to implement fuel price hikes starting December 1
Several oil companies will implement fuel price adjustments starting Tuesday, the first day in the month of December.
In its advisory, Petro Gazz announced that prices of diesel and gasoline will increase by P1.10 per liter and P1.15 per liter, respectively, starting 6 a.m. on December 1.
Shell and Seaoil will also implement the same increase, as well as a P1.10 per liter hike for kerosene, by that time.
Meanwhile, Clean Fuel will introduce the same price changes at a later time on Tuesday, starting 4:01 p.m.
Shell, however, said that a price freeze on kerosene will remain implemented in areas under state of calamity following the recent typhoons.
Phoenix Petroleum Philippines will increase the prices of gasoline by P1.15 per liter and diesel by P1.10 per liter, effective 6 a.m. of December 1.
Petron, on the other hand, will implement a P0.96 per kilogram increase in LPG prices and P0.54 per liter increase AutoLPG prices effective 12:01 am, Dec. 1. These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of December, Petron stated in an advisory.
The Solane-branded LPG will increase its price by P0.89 per kilogram (VAT exclusive) effective Dec. 1 at 6 a.m. However, in view of Proclamation 1051 dated Nov. 18, 2020, placing the entire Luzon island under a state of calamity, the price movement shall only take effect in Luzon on Dec. 3 at 6 a.m. for 11-kilogram tanks or household purposes.—AOL, GMA News
