Diesel and kerosene prices to be rolled back Tuesday; gasoline unchanged
After seven consecutive weeks of price hikes for diesel and kerosene, oil firms are set to roll back pump prices of both petroleum products this week while keeping those of gasoline unchanged.
In separate advisories, Petron Corp., Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Inc. said they will reduce prices per liter of diesel by P0.05, and kerosene by P0.25.
Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, and PTT Philippines Corp. will implement the same changes, excluding kerosene which they do not carry.
The changes will take effect 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 except for Cleanfuel which will implement the changes 8:01 a.m. the same day. Other firms have yet to make similar announcements.
Latest data available from the Department of Energy (DOE) shows that year-to-date adjustments stand at a net decrease of P3.22 per liter for gasoline, P7.36 per liter for diesel, and P10.59 per liter for kerosene.—AOL, GMA News
