Solane LPG price to roll back on April 1

Isla Petroleum and Gas Corp. on Wednesday announced a price decrease for its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) product, effective next month.

In an advisory, the company said the price of its Solane branded LPG will be rolled back by P2.92 per kilogram.

This is equivalent to a decrease of P32.12 to a typical 11-kilogram LPG tank.

The price adjustment will take effect on April 1 at 6 a.m.

Data from the Department of Energy showed retail prices of an 11-kilogram LPG cylinder range between P643 and P946.

Oil companies usually implement LPG price adjustment every first day of a month.

Last March 1, fuel firms increased the price of LPG by P0.73 to P0.82 per kilogram or about P8.03 to P9.02 per 11-kilogram cylinder.—LDF, GMA News
