Scheduled flights to continue under MECQ – CebPac

Budget carrier Cebu Pacific will continue to operate scheduled flights amid the NCR Plus area's shift to a modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) for the rest of the month.

In an advisory, Cebu Pacific said it will continue to serve essential travelers as the Transportation Department earlier said only authorized persons outside of residence (APORs) are allowed to travel for the time being.

"Only essential travel is allowed in and out of Manila during this time. Cebu Pacific will continue to operate its domestic and international flights as scheduled, however, passengers who wish to postpone their flights may select their preferred option," it said.

The carrier said those with affected flights can choose to rebook as many times as needed at no additional cost or choose to store the amount in a virtual wallet for two years.
