DITO expands service coverage to 21 more cities, enters Luzon


Third telco DITO Telecommunity Corp. is expanding its mobile services coverage to 21 more cities in the country as it entered the Luzon market, following its official commercial launch in the Visayas and Mindanao.

On March 8, DITO officially launched its services in 15 pilot areas, 10 in Metro Cebu and five in Metro Davao.

"We are very excited to announce that in just a few weeks after our commercial launch in Cebu and Davao, more Filipinos can now experience stronger and reliable connectivity with DITO's Luzon expansion,” said Adel Tamano, chief administrative officer of DITO.

Tamano said included in DITO’s service expansion are the provinces of Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Cebu, and General Santos.

He added that SIM cards are now available in more than 300-partner stores, and will be available soon in three DITO-owned stores in Cebu and Davao.

The specific areas where DITO services are now available are as follows:

  • Santa Rosa (Nueva Ecija)

  • Cabanatuan City (Nueva Ecija)
  • Tarlac City (Tarlac)
  • Capas (Tarlac)
  • Concepcion (Tarlac)
  • Gerona (Tarlac)

“In line with DITO’s expansion of commercial operations, we have also launched a new promo to get more and more Filipinos experience the true difference of DITO,” Tamano said.

“We are currently offering our subscribers 25GB High Speed Data for P199 valid for 30-days. With this value-for-money promo, Filipino subscribers can also enjoy unlimited DITO-to-DITO calls and texts, call waiting, call forwarding, video over LTE, and unlimited texts and 300 mins calls to other mobile networks,” he said. — RSJ, GMA News
